About Us - Julia Glen
Julia Glen has 10 years experience in retail management and customer service. She started working at garden centers in high school to make extra money for college. Since graduating from Queen’s College in Charlotte with a BA in English Literature, she has worked in the customer service industry. She has also received a certificate from Central Piedmont Community College in human resources. Working with customers and ensuring that they receive excellent customer service is her favorite part of being a member of the Sugar Creek Garden Center team.
Julia has always kept an indoor garden with African violets, ferns, begonias and different succulents. Now she enjoys gardening outside in raised beds which contain perennials and vegetables. She also enjoys container gardening with seasonal annuals. Her newest passion is learning how to create terrariums.
